The "Farm to Table" dream began with a marriage in our family. The youngest Sivertson daughter fell in love with a North Dakota man that we fondly called "Dirt Boy." He loves the land, the soil, permaculture, and our daughter. Dirt Boy gave us books to read, articles to study, and in the process, ignited a passion within us all to create Haaken Hill Farm. We gather on Sunday mornings, at the farm, for Flapjack Sunday. Papa makes the ultimate flapjack breakfast and then we proceed to the field. There are grandchildren playing in the soil, several Labradors chasing one another, and farmers tending the land.Life is definitely good on this farm! Visit us, and if you're hungry.....make it a Sunday.

To be a local source for high-quality food using bio intensive organic principles that result in safe food and a healthy environment.
We believe that by working with the natural systems of the sun, soil, water fungi, plants, and microorganism we can grow excellent tasting food without the environmental and health risks that accompany chemical intensive farming practices.
We always seek to meet and exceed organic farming standards and the intent of those rules. Our main goal is to promote regenerative agriculture through ecological awareness.
